Timbercreek Employee Rebrand Launch Event

The Context

Timbercreek Equities & Timbercreek Communities needed a partner to plan and execute their rebrand launch as a virtual event. The challenge: Energize, educate and commemorate the launch of the new Hazelview brand virtually with their employees.

Our Virtual Event Solution

This 1.5-hour virtual event included over 700 employees globally. Streamed live from their Toronto head office, a panel of five senior leaders delivered live presentations around the world that included the history of the company and context for the rebrand. This highly interactive event encouraged team members to ask questions, discuss the announcement, and engage with speakers through polling.

To build excitement, employees received a surprise package for the event containing a collection of new Hazelview branded items to proudly represent the new brand. Upon unveiling the new brand name, employees collectively unboxed their surprise deliveries.

With a new vision of “Creating value for people and places”, it was important to provide employees with a themed experience to close out the event. Renowned entrepreneur and author, Zahra Al-Harazi, joined to talk about Purpose-Driven Leadership and provide real-life examples supporting the new brand values of Hazelview.

The Results

Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive with a rating of 4.5/5 and one employee stating: “I am very proud of who I work for and I’ve always told others that I feel like I’m part of something that is really wonderful and important. This event just drove that home again.  I had goosebumps in parts of it, tears in others, it was just great!”
