Today, February 1, 2022, kicks off the Year of the Tiger.

Like the ferocious feline, top talent and the best leaders are known for their strength, speed, power, courage and energy – all attributes that will serve those in business and events well in 2022. We chatted with top motivational speaker and business leadership coach Mike Lipkin who says,

“this year will take all of your tiger instincts and then some to manage.”

A popular speaker at many of Proof Experiences’ client events, Lipkin says to “predict unpredictability in 2022”. Despite this uncertainty, he is optimistic about the path forward as the general mood shifts from shock and dread to acceptance and a powerful forward momentum. We couldn’t agree more.

Lipkin strongly encourages those who want to succeed and flourish in the Year of the Tiger to master these 7 actions:

1. IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE METAVERSE.

Be adaptable and move seamlessly between the live/physical and online/digital worlds.

2. KNOW YOUR GAME.

Whatever your area of expertise, be the trusted advisor.

3. CONNECT WITH PEOPLE.

Step up and reach out to friends and colleagues again.

4. REDEFINE YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO RISK.

Manage it. Don’t try to eliminate it. Protect yourself. And, get back out there.

5. FIND YOUR OWN HOMEOSTASIS.

Find your own state of equilibrium or daily rhythm where you operate at your best.

6. INVENT YOUR IMMEDIATE FUTURE.

Nobody knows the way forward. What do you want to be or achieve by the end of the year? Make a plan to get there. Now.

7. KEEP YOUR FAITH.

Optimism is a self-fulfilling prophecy. What you look for is what you tend to find.
