Proof Experiences wins Best Agency Event for National Autism Conference 2022 at the second annual Eventeer Awards by vFairs, celebrating excellence in virtual and hybrid events! We are so grateful for this award, and to the Public Health Agency of Canada | Agence de la santé publique du Canada for the opportunity to bring this event to life. This important event brought together over 1,000 Autistic Canadians and their many stakeholders to help identify Canada’s priorities towards a national autism strategy. Creating fully accessible virtual events is essential to create inclusivity. The National Autism Conference reached WCAG 2.0 and AODA compliance, with a native screen reader, text enlargement and colour contrast functionalities. Content was available in both English and French, inclusive of closed captioning, as well as ASL and LSQ interpretations.
